Dr. Jerome Paul Farewell Reception - Thank You all


We thank all the faculty, staff, under-graduates and graduate students, who attended the event to honor Dr. Paul.

We would like to especially thank Dr. Schmidt, Dr. Berman, Chad Yoshikawa and Michal Kouril for sharing their thoughts with us; Dr. Bhatnagar, Dr. Carter and Teresa Hamad for all their inputs and help; and Dr. Paul's family members for making time to attend the event.

Finally, we would like thank Dr. Paul himself for all his contributions to our Department and to UC over the past 37 years.

Dr. Jerome Paul Farewell Reception - Invitation


Hello all,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the Farewell Reception for Dr. Jerome Paul on 10th Jan (this Thursday), at the TUC 400 A,B,C room from 2:00PM - 3:30PM.

Dr. Paul is one of the pioneers in the creation of the Computer Science (CS) Department. He has served at the University of Cincinnati for the past 37 years and has retired on 2nd Jan 2008. Therefore, we, the Graduate Student Association of the Computer Science Department (CS GSA) and the IEEE Student Chapter are honoring his invaluable service to the CS and the previous ECECS Departments by organizing this farewell party for him.

Event details:
Date: Thursday, 10th January 2008 @ 2:00 PM
Venue: Tangeman Univ Center (TUC) Room 400 A/B/C

The event starts at 2:00PM, and following a brief introduction and presentation, Dr. Paul will talk about his experiences at UC. Light refreshments will be provided during the event.

Please make your time and be there to give him a warm ovation!!
